John Needham studied at Leicester College of Art longer ago than he cares to remember and spent the first twenty-five years of his working life in graphic design and copywriting. Later he pursued another passion, renovating old houses, to end his career in landscape gardening.
Now retired from all that, his days are largely devoted to writing, telling stories passionately and empathetically (he hopes) about people, about life, about social issues, about the human condition. In addition to two books on house renovation he has written four novels: Convergence, Forebears, The One of Us and Secret Shame; and Another Spring, a small anthology of short stories. An autobiography, Wishing for the Better, is available free-to-read on his website: wordsfromjohn.wordpress.com
Although born and raised in the east of England, he now lives in beautiful west Wales with his exuberant spaniel, Sali.
