Victoria Pougatch

Victoria Pougatch graduated with distinction from the MA in creative writing at Oxford Brookes and was selected to read an extract of her work at the Pegasus Theatre Annual Showcase during “an evening of new writing” hosted by Philip Pullman. Her short story, “The Day I Walked in Front of a Bus” was long listed for the 2015 Mogford Prize. She has a degree in English Literature from Durham University and a PGCE, which she took after 8 years working in the literary agency world. She has volunteered for the charity Bookfeast, which runs lunchtime book clubs in Oxfordshire primary schools, and has recently founded Scribblers writing club for primary aged children.
