Susan Russell’s childhood ambition to be an author was stymied by a busy life encompassing nursing, motherhood, medical Herbalism and Bowen therapy. When her sons eventually left home the desire to create stories was re-ignited and supported by her local writing group. The power of a good story became clear when she spent two years volunteering with primary aged children to encourage a love of books. Since picking up her pen she has written several short stories for adults and books for children of varying ages. She doesn’t like to be squeezed into any one genre, but loves to people watch and explore what makes us tick. Home is now the rural Cantal in France, where she is currently working on a fantasy adventure story for children.
