Ruth Gregson originally hails from Liverpool and holds an MA in Language Studies from Lancaster University. In 2013, she co-founded The Rose Company, the UK's only all-female Shakespeare and Classical theatre company, and has recently starred in their UK tour and film of Jane Lumley's Iphigenia, the oldest play by a woman in the English language. She lives in Lancaster.
